DAY-BY-DAY ITINERARY
Day 1: As you disembark your plane at Naboisho Airstrip one of our friendly and knowledgeable Maasai Guides – the true specialists – is standing ready to take you on your very first Game Drive. Jump into one of our tailor-made 4x4 Safari Land Cruisers and be introduced to the exceptional wildlife of Naboisho Conservancy, which includes thriving populations of lions, elephants, cheetah and leopards. You will arrive at your first destination, Eagle View Camp, in time for lunch. Enjoy a freshly prepared lunch while taking in the exceptional views from our airy dining area. After lunch accompany your Maasai Guide on a visit to Koiyaki Guiding School (KGS), located next to Eagle View Camp. Several of our Maasai Guides are graduates from KGS and we continue to work closely with the school to empower local youth. In the late afternoon join your Maasai Guide for an Afternoon Game Drive. After a Basecamp Sundowner of drinks and nibbles get ready for the thrill of a lifetime: a Night Safari. Your Maasai Guide will equip the car with infrared lights to allow you to spot the nocturnal animals of Naboisho. Night Safari is a truly exhilarating experience, only permitted inside private conservancies. Return to Eagle View for a delicious three-course dinner, followed by stargazing and story-sharing around the fireplace. Overnight at Eagle View.
Day 2: Enjoy an early breakfast before embarking on a Full Day Walking Safari. During the walk your Maasai Guide will teach you some of the finer details of the savannah, including how to identify animal footprints and different kinds of dung. Around midday your guide will locate a suitable Acacia Tree where you can relax and refuel on a picnic lunch. Your walk will continue when the temperature cools down, returning to Eagle View in time for Sundowner. Enjoy a well-deserved three-course dinner and rest around the fireplace, reflecting on the experiences of the day. Overnight at Eagle View.
Day 3: Awake at dawn for your Morning Walking Safari. Your walk will take you to the next destination on your journey through the circuit: Wilderness Camp. Tucked away deep inside the incomparable Saddle Valley, Wilderness Camp is our tribute to safari as it was meant to be. Arrive at Wilderness Camp in time for a late breakfast. After breakfast join your Maasai Guide on a visit to Oleseri Village, our Green Village where we have built a health clinic, a primary school and a solar-powered borehole. Learn more about how responsible tourism can contribute to the empowerment of local communities. After an Afternoon Game Drive return to Wilderness Camp in time for Sundowner. Enjoy the contrast of eating first-class cuisine in the middle of the wilderness. After dinner, gather around the fireplace to listen to the meditative Maasai chanting. Reflect on all the amazing things you have seen and learned, despite the briefness of your stay. Overnight at Wilderness Camp.
Day 4: Wake at dawn for a final Morning Walking Safari or Morning Game Drive. Witness how the savannah springs to life as the sun rises. Enjoy a picnic breakfast on the Savannah before returning to camp. After lunch gather your things and say your goodbyes. Following one last Game Drive reach Naboisho Air Strip in time for your scheduled 4pm flight, the perfect departure time for international connections or for continuing your African adventure by the coast. As your board your plane, treasure the feeling of coming as a guest, staying as a friend and leaving as a partner – even after a short stay with us.

Environment
We run on solar power with a backup generator for those times of no sunlight & a booster system for water heating fueled by Eco briquettes made from waste. We use energy saving bulbs, recycle our organic waste on site in a series of composting pits, and plastic & tins are sent back to Nairobi for recycling. We have Eco composting toilets whereby the liquid waste & all waste water is collected then used in our tree plantation.
Our strategic Environmental best practice includes creation of Conservation Partnerships through developing local management models that help safeguard ecosystems through long-term tourism partnerships and concentrating on activities that mobilize the community towards offsetting of carbon dioxide emissions to the atmosphere through active participation in tree planting and Afforestation initiatives. Eagle View in Mara Naboisho was constructed from local materials, running on solar, hot water & energy systems with a backup generator, energy saving bulbs and the recycling of non-organic waste. All plastic is collected and transported for off-site recycling. Bio-degradable waste is converted to compost for our vegetable garden. Leave a positive footprint and reduce your carbon footprint by planting a tree in our tree plantation at Base camp Mara |
