Gorillas safaris and tours in Uganda

To be allowed to view or trek mountain gorillas in Uganda, you are expected to get a gorilla trekking permit which will allow you  trek and view the mountain gorillas in the National park. It is a must that you get a permit to be authorized to go and track because it is an authorizing document to allow you track the gorillas. This permit indicates the gorilla family to be tracked at it costs USD 600 and is issued with Uganda Wildlife Authority offices.  To avoid inconveniences, you are required to  book for a gorilla permit about three weeks before the actual day of travelling  and this also gives ample time to the tour  organize to book for your accommodation in time.

Tracking/Trekking in the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is an amazing adventure most interestingly when you are gathered in groups of eight (8) people from the Ruhija station, from where you will be led by a team of qualified park rangers and guards exercising machetes and hosting AK47s. The elongated drive to Bwindi is quite captivating with quite great sceneries like the Equator and Lake Mburo National Park along the journey..
