The Gorilla trekking expedition in Bwindi Impenetrable National park- Uganda.

Where to see the endangered mountain gorillas in Uganda.
In Uganda, the endangered mountain gorillas can be seen or tracked in two major national parks. These are Bwindi Impenetrable National park and Mgahinga gorilla national park. These two parks are found in south western Uganda. It has been noticed that most tourists prefer visiting the country for gorilla trekking from June to September and from the months of December to February. However, Bwindi can be visited any time of the year thus, you can arrange for your safari any time of the year. There are habituated groups for viewing and a maximum of 8 people are allowed to go and visit or view these gorillas. When you come in contact with these gorillas, you can take some photographs. On special arrangement, you can take videos of these mountain gorillas. The head of each group is called silver back also referred to as a male mountain gorilla.
Where should I stay when I come for Gorilla trekking in Uganda?
The answer to this question usually depends to you as a customer because there are many lodges which are affordable and very pocket friendly.  They range from budget lodges to luxury lodges and they do provide food services to you as a client or a guest. Some of the most notable lodges one would prefer are; the Buhoma Lodge, mahogany springs, Gorilla forest camp and Nshongi Gorilla resort. These are considered as upper market lodges though there are many budget lodges offering accommodation in the same areas.
The cost of a Gorilla Safari in Uganda
Special and different tour operators do give different quotes depending on circumstances. The cheapest safari however   roughly stands at $ 1000 and this depends on the number of people. For a supper luxury safari, it will cost you between $ 1500 to $ 2000 every person. Following the reviews of most tour operators in Uganda, most of the tourists do prefer the mid range budgets since they are very convenient for them. When you book your safari during the low season, you should always get the costs lowered and this will be at your advantage.
