How good is it to trek gorillas in Rwanda or Uganda?

When you are going to trek the endangered mountain gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable or Mgahinga gorilla national park, you will be required to be in groups of 8 members as a maximum number to track the gorillas either in Rwanda or Uganda. This number was decided by the authorities who are responsible because it is assumed that this number reduces on the mountain gorilla exposure to being affected by diseases or any other human illness.
Mountain gorillas are very vulnerable to human diseases. Most of the diseases which affect human beings do also affect the mountain gorillas in Uganda and Rwanda. You should not come close to the mountain gorillas in the forest as they can easily catch any disease you might suffer from.
What is required of you as you are travelling?
These national parks where the mountain gorillas are found are composed of dense forest. As you travel through the forest in any of the national parks, where you are going to trek the mountain gorillas from, you will be advised to keep your voices very low. If you can, then you completely stay silence. This is presumed to be the best way to conduct yourself when you have gone to track the mountain gorillas. The challenges, when you do not keep silence, you might miss most wildlife in the park or abundance of the bird species which are found in the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, Mgahinga gorilla Park or Volcanoes Park in Rwanda.
In addition to the above, you will be required not to leave any rubbish when you are in the forest. Leaving the rubbish in the forest where the mountain gorillas are found means that you will spoil it for the other visitors who will be next visitors or tourists in the park. Remember, the mountain gorilla experience will begin where the   guidelines on that day will be found.
Accommodation during gorilla trekking
Before you set off for travel, you need to book your accommodation in advance. This will avoid you from facing inconveniences and embarrassment at the travel destination. When you do not book in advance your accommodation, you stand high chances of missing out to get any accommodation for yourself at the travel destination. The accommodation facilities which offered range from budget, mid range and luxury lodges. You will find many of these in Bwindi impenetrable, Mgahinga gorilla and Volcanoes national park in Uganda and Rwanda respectively.
How can I travel to the destination?
Upon your arrival at Entebbe International airport, you will be welcomed by your guide basing on the company you arranged your safari with. This guide will make you travel to all the travel destinations as per your itinerary. Of course you will have to get some stop overs as you are travelling  to buy  yourself some eats and locally made art crafts along the way. Alternatively upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you can opt to use public means. There are several of matatus which operate at the airport and these can make you travel through your entire travel destination as per the itinerary. The challenge however, when you are using public means, you will not be very comfortable as compared to when using private means. You will be disturbed since most of the vehicles providing public means are over packed by passengers since they want to maximize profits.
Feeding while on the safari
At your place of accommodation, you will be provided with meals. During transit, you will opt to carry yourself packed lunch, which will be taken during the safari. Of course this will be given to you by the hotel or lodge.
